Our kids turn into us, into our friends from middle and high school. Some of them turn into the kids who steal prescription drugs, insulin needles, half the liquor cabinet. Ain't no reason to make it easier.
For today's Hallmark holiday, I installed a combo lock wall safe. Keeping the kids safe from their own bad ideas and/or darkness is a gift to ourselves.
